The Vine mobile app (powered by Verb) is a powerful, yet simple innovation that will make growing your business easier than ever. Share all of your favorite business building tools, create video messages, take Scout School Online, manage your business and so much more—right from your phone. The best part, everything launching tomorrow is completely free to you!
You'll receive an email and/or text message with instructions for downloading The Vine along with your own unique link for connecting it to your Consultant Account. While you wait, watch the video trainings below to learn how to navigate and use all of the features of the app!
Didn't get an email? Be sure to check your spam. Still not there? No worries! Just head to the App store on your mobile device and search "Scout & Cellar Vine." Download the App and enter the same username and password you use to log into The Cellar.
1. Get Set Up
Learn how to navigate The Vine, set up your social profiles and access all of the available tools and features of the app. Watch this video for a full overview on getting started, or break it up to learn about each individual feature in the videos below.
What You Need to Know:
The Vine uses a secure connection to ensure your Consultant website and profile information are attached to anything you share from the app.
The "magic link" that you will receive in your email or text tomorrow will automatically connect the app to your account.
Should this link not work or you need to log out for any reason, use the same username and password that you use to log into The Cellar when logging into The Vine.
Changing your password to The Cellar will automatically update your password to The Vine.
2. Sync Your Contacts
Add contacts directly from your phone and mark them as hot (an active customer or potential Consultant) or cold (not interested right now) leads with Swipe. You'll want to make sure your contacts are synced before you start sharing. Watch this video to learn how!
What You Need to Know:
At this time, you can sync contacts from your mobile device only.
Sync all of your contacts at once or select the ones you want to add. Once contacts are added, they are there to stay, so we recommend adding select contacts to make it easier to sort.
Swipe left to mark them cold. Swipe right to mark them hot.
3. Select Shareable Assets
From videos and images to infographics and more, you'll find a huge selection of product and community building shareable assets and pre-written content within the TOOLS and FEATURED PRODUCT section of the app. Watch this video to learn how to find what you're looking for.
What You Need to Know:
New assets will be added weekly. For new wine and product launches, assets will be added to the Featured Product section of The Vine within a few hours of the product going live.
To see newly added assets, refresh your TOOLS section by swiping down from the top of the screen.
Favorite your most-used assets to easily access them in your filters!
4. Send an Email or Text
Ready to send an asset or video to a specific contact? Learn how to send an email or text and track your contact's engagement in your FEED. The best part, everything you send will direct your contact to your PERSONAL website to shop or join! Watch the video to get started.
What You Need to Know:
Emails and texts messages are personal connections which means your message should be unique to the person you are connecting with. For this reason, mass/group texting and emailing is not available.
Use the FEED to track how your contacts are engaging with what you shared and follow up accordingly.
5. Share on Social
Reach a larger audience by sharing assets to your social media channels. All assets include a link to your personal website and many even come with suggested content for posting! Watch this video to learn tips and best practices for sharing on social.
What You Need to Know:
Many of the assets available for sharing include example text to use with your post. This is a great starting place, but you'll want to be sure to make the message unique to you!
Be sure to post any links in the comments rather than in the body of your post to avoid being flagged as spam.
6. Instant Message
Engage with your contacts through instant messaging apps like Whatsapp and Facebook Messenger and track their engagement. This video will show you how!
What You Need to Know:
Instant messaging is also a great way to share with your team. Simply create a group in the messaging app of your choice, then watch the video above to learn how to share from The Vine to those apps.
7. Create Your Own Interactive Videos
Get creative with MY TOOLS. These interactive videos are a great way to connect with your audience in a more personal way. Record or upload your own video then add personalized links before sharing. Watch the video to learn how to use this exciting tool!
What You Need to Know:
These videos are such a unique way to connect with your audience. Make your own tasting videos, unbox your Scout Circle order, share your favorite Wilderness Road recipe and so much more. The options are endless. Just be sure to be YOU!
8. Start LEARNing
In the LEARN section of The Vine, you'll find Scout School Online! Easily access all of the trainings available in Scout School anytime, anywhere, and earn badges as you complete courses. In this section you'll also find "Continuing Education" where recorded webinar trainings will be posted. Need help with the app? You'll find all of The Vine training videos there, too! Watch the video to LEARN more.
What You Need to Know:
With Scout School Online in The Vine, you now have unlocked access to all courses without the need to log into your Scout School account.
This makes it easier to refer to course as needed and for new Consultants to start training right away.
This also means that badges you have earned by taking Scout School through the online platform will not transfer over to the app. But hey, everyone could use a refresher from time to time. Take courses again to earn badges in The Vine!
9. Stay Connected to Your Business
In the BUSINESS section of the app, you'll find a variety of links for staying connected to your business through the app. Log into The Cellar, sign up a new Consultant, link to DOUGH and more!
What You Need to Know:
In the initial version of The Vine, you will need to log into your Consultant or DOUGH Accounts to access each of these sections.

10. Stay Connected to the Winery
You'll also want to watch your FEED for special announcements, recent communications and important updates from The Winery.
What You Need to Know:
Announcements from The Winery are marked with a green dot in your FEED and are organized by month.
Get alerted to new announcements through push notifications in the app as well as by email and text. You can manage your notification preferences in My Profile > Settings > Notification.
